The Real Reason for Taxes (per B.H. Obama)

We hear lots about taxes during the presidential campaigns. What would Obama do about taxes, and why? Well, during one of the Democrat debates against Ms. Clinton, Obama gave his reason. When challenged by the moderator (Charlie Rose, I think) who gave statistics that lowering of taxes actually increase revenue to the government, Obama responded that he would look into increasing capital gains taxes for "purposes of fairness."

Fairness? No substantive reason, just fairness? Just substitute "control" for "fairness." How about the fairness of letting people who work hard for their money, or who make smart and sound financial decisions about their investments keep the money they earn?

I think that's fair.
